    Abstract:
    The article examines the processes of development of pedagogical science and educational practice in the Orenburg region in the second half of the XX century, for the first time an attempt was made to periodize the least studied period, namely, the first period was highlighted – from 1958 to 1966, characterized as "productive and transformative", the work of Orenburg teachers of this period was analyzed.
