    Abstract:
    Современные условия ведения боевых действий, уровень развития военной техники и тактики требуют качественной профессиональной подготовки личного состава, что, в свою очередь, создает необходимость повышения уровня развития двигательных и военно-прикладных навыков военнослужащих, в том числе ориентирования на местности как профессионально важного качества, подтверждающего оптимальный уровень физического развития и функционального состояния организма. В статье предложена методика развития двигательных навыков и формирования военно-прикладных навыков у курсантов в процессе занятий по спортивному ориентированию.

    In this article, the authors consider the pedagogical system of physical education of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation as a set of components that determine the content and methodology of the educational process, the goals and objectives of physical education. Also, the authors, having studied this issue comprehensively, come to the conclusion that the physical training of police officers promotes their health, improves physical development and increases the level of physical fitness.
