- The relevance of the topic is related to the fact that the amount of information accumulated by mankind in various fields of science is growing at a tremendous rate every year. There is a need to reduce the time for processing information content in the activities of organizations and companies when working with their development projects. The purpose of the chapter is to analyze the use of information technology in project management and develop a set of measures to improve activities in the administration of the Kuibyshev District Municipality of the Kaluga Region. The subject of the study is the impact of the introduction of new information technologies on project management in the administration of the Kuibyshev District Municipality of the Kaluga Region. During the work on the material, systematic, complex, situational, process approaches, as well as elements of multifactorial analysis were applied.
