- The chapter is devoted to a comparative analysis of the penal enforcement system of the Russian Federation and the penitentiary system of the People's Republic of China, formerly of 2 communist countries. The practice of applying criminal penalties in Russia and the PRC, studying the reasons for the consistent humanization over the past 30 years in the Russian Federation, as well as similar practices in the PRC.
The arguments and reasons for the possible implementation of the positive experience of the two countries, including in the field of application of the institute of probation, are highlighted in order to develop the most effective mechanism for the implementation of state coercion through the implementation of criminal punishment.
