Abstract

The article examines the criminalistic characteristics of the methods of committing crimes as an important source of information about extortion. The main signs of extortion and its varieties are described, as well as the methods that extortionists can use. It is noted that there is a need for continuous improvement of forensic techniques for effective crime control
