Abstract

Within the framework of this article, we will study in detail the process of forming a civic position among the younger generation with a mild degree of mental retardation. Special attention is paid in the article to the study of this process on the example of students of school No. 32, located in the city of Lipetsk. This study aims to highlight the methods and approaches that can be used to develop and strengthen citizenship among this category of schoolchildren, which, of course, is an important step in their socialization and integration into society.
