Abstract
The article concludes that it is necessary to create an integrated educational and professional space based on the resources of the lecturer, the system of additional education (institutes for the development of education – IDE), district educational and methodological offices (DEMO) and the educational institution (EI) in which the lecturer works, while the adaptation of education content should be adopted to the needs of the social order to additional education of a lecturer and his or her individual characteristics. The functions of EI, DEMO, IDE have been determined. That made it possible for IDE to develop a strategy for advanced training and scientific and methodological support of teachers. It is based on the principles of mutual enrichment, mutual respect and cooperation between all stakeholders of the education system and promotes the professional self-realization of teachers.
