the chapter discusses the peculiarities of the use of poetic texts by M.I. Tsvetaeva in the process of working on the study of the aesthetic function of the language. The author comes to the conclusion that the use of poetic texts in Russian language lessons, firstly, has a number of methodological features, and secondly, it is an important means for students to understand the features of aesthetic transformation of the meaning of language units.
