the chapter is devoted to the problem of the formation of coping mechanisms in schoolchildren. It contains a brief literature review on this topic. The results of an experimental study on the formation of coping strategies in school children through a literary analysis of the behavior and actions of children's heroes in modern teenage prose are presented.
