this study is devoted to the problem of the dictionary of microtoponyms existing in the Chuvash environment. Chuvash microtoponymy is one of the lexico-phraseological stratum that is being lost at a rapid pace, and its fixation currently seems more than relevant. Scientists have voiced the idea of such a publication many times, and have repeatedly begun collecting material, but it has never come to fruition.
