the objective of the chapter is to elaborate suggestions for improving the mechanisms of building harmonious interfaith relations in the Arkhangelsk region. On the basis of statistical data and normative legal acts the current state of intergroup interaction is analysed and the regional policy guidelines for religious associations are identified.
