in this article, the author examines the importance of song in the history of the Great Patriotic War, since songwriting created during these years is today an important tool for preserving historical memory, learning lessons from the past and striving to preserve peace. The article analyzes the composition of some songs both in terms of ideological content and musical form, shades, dynamics, etc. The article presents reasoned conclusions about the importance of preserving the song heritage of the forties for future generations.
