the article deals with the significance of military-patriotic education for pupils. The study analyzes the impact of visiting memorial and historical sites of the Great Patriotic War on the formation of patriotic feelings in schoolchildren, in particular, the development of respect for their country and strengthening the sense of pride in the history of their people.
