The article describes a study examining the influence of social attitudes and stereotypes about professions according to gender, conducted with the participation of civil servants in Volgograd. To confirm the hypothesis of the existence of differences in stereotypes about professions among men and women, the following methods were used: express diagnosis of gender stereotypes, the questionnaire "Proverbs" by I.S.
