The education of the ecological culture of high school students is conditioned by the need to overcome the environmental crisis. The purpose of the study is to identify, theoretically substantiate and implement methodological support for environmental education of high school students in the learning process at school. The paper expands the understanding of methodological support for environmental education of high school students in the learning process (based on biology), and has developed and successfully tested an environmental education program.

At the present stage, the level of environmental education of high school students determines not only public well-being, but also the future of the global scale. It is no coincidence that educational standards at all levels of education pay special attention to the environmental education of the younger generation.
