Portfolio as a Tool for the Development and Assessment of a Designer’s Professional Competencies in Contemporary Education

The article is devoted to the role of the portfolio in the system of professional training of designers in the context of the transformation of 21st-century education. It examines the functions of the portfolio as a pedagogical tool for assessing the dynamics of competency development among students and graduates of design-related programs. The paper proposes principles for structuring a portfolio that ensure its effectiveness in both educational and professional contexts.
