the paper examines the semantic and linguocultural model of phraseological representation of the category of time in Russian, Chuvash, and English. The research material comprises lexicographic sources and fixed expressions with temporal semantics denoting duration, cyclicality, timeliness, expectation, temporal limit, and the impossibility of an event.
