Annotation
the chapter assesses the ecological and economic state of the automotive industry and identifies promising development paths for the Russian automotive sector. The economic analysis showed the dominance of passenger commercial vehicles with internal combustion engines (ICEs), which are in low demand on world markets, and serious competition from used foreign cars in the domestic market.
