    The given article deals with some issues of foreign student’s educational process organization in teaching professionally-oriented English to university students of non-foreign language faculties taking into consideration their peculiarities as well as certain factors influencing upon the educational process efficiency. The article points out the difficulties that foreign students might experience when studying at the Russian Institution of higher education. As a means of solving the problem it is suggested to employ the most relevant methods of teaching in the educational process and to operate at three working languages: English, Russian and Arabic.

The author points out that the aim of education is personal, cognitive, polycultural development of students providing such key competence as the ability to learn. Universal learning activities formed by the teacher at each stage of the class, their properties and quality determine the effectiveness of the educational process, in particular knowledge assimilation, skills formation, image of the world and main types of students’ competences.

    The article is devoted to the understanding of M. K. Mamardashvili's views on the problem of teaching philosophy in higher educational institutions, the analysis of the role of philosophy in modern society and in the education system. It is shown that, despite the presence of philosophy as an obligatory discipline of the basic part of the curriculum, it is possible to state the absence of an integral image of its teaching. The main attention is focused on changing the status of philosophy in the educational process.
