- Abstract:
- The article presents the results of the study of some socio-psychological characteristics of preschool children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The sociometric structure of a small social group is the result of its development and has a significant impact both on the functioning of the group itself and on the socio-psychological development of its members. On the one hand, personality traits along with other factors of psychical development and socialization contribute to or hinder the acquisition of favorable sociometric statuses. On the other hand, the possession of a certain sociometric status has an impact on the development of socio-psychological characteristics of the individual. Children with unpopular statuses are situated at the zone risk. The aim of the work was to study the socio-psychological characteristics of children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The study was conducted in preschool educational institutions of Petrozavodsk, Prionezhsky and Medvezhyegorsky districts of the Republic of Karelia. We used some methods to test the hypothesis. These are the «Secret» method, «Observation of children's communication», the Rosenzweig test, the «Monitoring aggressive behavior of children» method. The results of the study. The study found that neglected and ignored children have got by aggression and anxiety; demonstration of aggression and anxiety in children with unpopular sociometric statuses are determined by the strength of the need for communication (initiative). These qualities are inherent in children who have a high need for communication. In rejected and isolated children with low need for communication, these qualities are not expressed. Anxiety differs in situations of interaction with peers or adults. The results of the study determine new tasks and the direction of correctional and developmental work with unpopular children.

- Abstract:
- The article is devoted to identifying the relationship between mental states and the sociometric status of children in a group at preschool educational institutions. In is noted that determining the relationship between mental states and status characteristics is important in understanding the mechanisms of children's development in ontogenesis and is associated with the need to ensure emotional well-being and successful socialization of a child. The psychodiagnostic methods, adequate research goals, methods of statistical processing of experimental data (criterion r – Pearson correlation coefficient, multifunctional difference criterion φ – Fisher’s angular transformation) were applied during investigational study. The results of correlation analysis are presented in the article. The analysis of correlations allowed to identify pervasive and specific, peculiar only to a certain age stage of development, negative and positive mental states of children, depending on their status characteristics. The data obtained in the course of the study significantly enrich the existing ideas about the characteristics of preschoolers with different sociometric status. It is concluded that the presence of statistically significant differences in the frequency of manifestations of mental states allowed to determine the specifics of socio-psychological features of the states of children of different status groups. The need to take into account these ideas is associated with the fact that mental formations formed at this age are stable and persist for many years, determining the further development of the child. Negative states, creating a vicious circle, can have a negative impact on the formation of the child's relationship system in a group of peers.

- Abstract:
- The study is aimed at studying the impact of family upbringing and the status of adolescents in the group of their coevals on their aggressiveness. Methods. The hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the development of aggression in adolescents is significantly influenced by such factors as the status of the teenager in his coeval group and the type of family upbringing. The empirical part of the study included three stages: preparatory, diagnostic, analysis and interpretation of the data. These stages of the study are aimed at determining the level of adolescents’ aggression, identifying violations in family upbringing and determining the status of adolescents in the coeval group. The results of the study. As a result, 82.1% (23 parents) experienced violations in family upbringing, destructive and mixed types of family interaction can be observed. Children of these parents are characterized by high and medium levels of aggressiveness. Also, the highest level of aggressiveness is observed in adolescents with sociometric statuses as «Stars», «Rejected» and «Disowned». The analysis of the correlation analysis results showed a high correlation between the manifestation of aggression in adolescents and such types of violations in family upbringing as excessive sanctions, underdevelopment of parental feelings and bringing conflict into the sphere of upbringing. Also, the analysis of the results showed the presence of a high relationship between the manifestation of aggression in adolescents and such status groups as «Stars» and «Preferred». Discussion. As a result, the assumption that there is a relationship between the type of family upbringing, sociometric status in the group of their coevals and aggression of adolescents was confirmed. It can be said that the style of family upbringing of adolescents and sociometric status in a group of coevals creates a number of prerequisites for the manifestation, development and consolidation of aggressiveness as a personality trait.
