Optimization of Mental States and Interpersonal Relationships of Children in Preschool

- Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of optimizing the psychological states of children through the formation of their interpersonal states with a teacher and peers. Relevance. Based on the analysis of literary sources, it was revealed that violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions and on mental states. This was the basis for the development and implementation of a comprehensive program to optimize the mental states and relationships of children in their relationship. Violations of relationships with teachers have a negative impact not only on mental states, but also on the formation of interpersonal relationships of children in the group of preschool educational institutions. This makes it necessary to develop a program of socio-psychological training for teachers and the need to work towards the harmonization of relations among peers. The purpose of the study is to determine the psychological and pedagogical conditions for optimizing mental states in the process of forming positive interpersonal relationships in a group of preschool educational institutions. Research methods. The article uses theoretical methods of research: analysis of domestic and foreign methodological sources, results of psychological and pedagogical research, study of the resources of educational portals of the Internet, generalization of materials of scientific and practical conferences, forums; practical methods: observation, interviewing, survey, questionnaire, mathematical and statistical methods of processing results (the criterion r is used – Pearson's linear correlation coefficient, etc.). Results and discussion. The author offers the results of a study of the relationship between interpersonal relationships with a teacher and peers with mental states, describes the author's program for optimizing the mental states of children in the pre-school group through the formation of interpersonal relationships. Diagnostic methods are proposed to determine the teacher's attitude to children, interpersonal relationships of children in the preschool group, the actor's method "Mishkin's family" in order to identify the mental states of children determined in relations with the teacher and peers. Conclusions. In our opinion, it is the complex of psychological impact on teachers, coupled with psychological and pedagogical impact on children, that will contribute to a significant increase in the level of interpersonal relationships of children in the immediate social environment and reduce the indicators of negative mental states.

Socio-Psychological Features of Preschool Children with Unpopular Sociometric Statuses

- The article presents the results of the study of some socio-psychological characteristics of preschool children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The sociometric structure of a small social group is the result of its development and has a significant impact both on the functioning of the group itself and on the socio-psychological development of its members. On the one hand, personality traits along with other factors of psychical development and socialization contribute to or hinder the acquisition of favorable sociometric statuses. On the other hand, the possession of a certain sociometric status has an impact on the development of socio-psychological characteristics of the individual. Children with unpopular statuses are situated at the zone risk. The aim of the work was to study the socio-psychological characteristics of children with unpopular sociometric statuses. The study was conducted in preschool educational institutions of Petrozavodsk, Prionezhsky and Medvezhyegorsky districts of the Republic of Karelia. We used some methods to test the hypothesis. These are the «Secret» method, «Observation of children's communication», the Rosenzweig test, the «Monitoring aggressive behavior of children» method. The results of the study. The study found that neglected and ignored children have got by aggression and anxiety; demonstration of aggression and anxiety in children with unpopular sociometric statuses are determined by the strength of the need for communication (initiative). These qualities are inherent in children who have a high need for communication. In rejected and isolated children with low need for communication, these qualities are not expressed. Anxiety differs in situations of interaction with peers or adults. The results of the study determine new tasks and the direction of correctional and developmental work with unpopular children.

- The article is devoted to the formation of socialization of children. The author notes that positive, guiding and supporting qualities of trusting, authoritative adults favorably influence the formation of communicative competence of adolescents with disabilities, including the nature of their interpersonal relationships. The addiction of a younger adolescent with disabilities pushes to copy, repeat the behavior model of others who are interested and create a comfortable being in society.

Features of Social and Communicative Development of Children Brought up in Different Age Groups of Pre-School Educational Institution

- The article describes the results of studying the social and communicative development of preschool children, in particular – the features of interpersonal relationships of children brought up in different age groups of pre-school educational institutions. The studies aim is to identify the features of the sociometric structure of a group of different ages, motives and needs for communication, such communicative qualities as initiativity, selectivity, and stability of communication. Methods of research. The study was conducted in pre-school educational institutions in Petrozavodsk. To test the hypothesis, the following methods were used: sociometric method and the method of involved observation, quantitative and qualitative analysis. Discussion of results. Analysis of the results of the study showed that children in different age groups have specific features of social and communicative development, which may be the result of spontaneous socialization factors. Among the highlighted features there is an incomplete sociometric structure of the pre-school group of different ages, the dominance of pragmatic motivation for communication, the predominance of heterogeneous game groups by gender and age, rigid fixation of positions in communication, and strict normative regulation of interaction between children of different ages. It is concluded that the results obtained can be used to determine the directions of educational work of specialists, manage spontaneous factors of socialization in order to minimize their negative impact on the social development of children.

The authors describe the features of the correctional development work, the methods and techniques used; features of theatrical and design activities application to optimize interpersonal relationships in an inclusive environment are considered. Based on the results of the study, the recommendations for teachers on the studied issues are proposed by the authors.

Interrelation Features of Mental States and Interpersonal Relations of Children with the Teacher

- The article is devoted to the identification of interrelations between mental states and interpersonal relations of children with the teacher in the group of preschool educational institution. The relevance of the study is out of question, since the definition of the interrelation features of mental states and interpersonal relations of children with the teacher is significant in understanding the mechanisms of children’s development in ontogenesis and it is associated with the study of the factors of child’s formation as a person and his socialization. Methods: psychodiagnostic methods, adequate research objectives, methods of statistical processing of experimental data (criterion r-Pearson linear correlation coefficient, cluster analysis) were applied. Research results. The article presents the results of relational and cluster analysis. Based on the results of the cluster analysis, the typological differentiation of the teacher's relations with children is developed. The dendrogram of relations types of teachers with children allowed to identify the following types: authoritative, controlling, emotionally-patronizing, dominating, formal. The correlation analysis allowed to reveal interrelation features of relations types of the teacher with children and mental states. The analysis of correlations allowed to allocate through and special, characteristic only for a certain age stage of development, negative and positive mental states of preschoolers. conclusion. It is found that the authoritative position of the teacher in relations with preschoolers causes high-energy positive mental states. Negative states of high level of activity are manifested depending on the controlling and dominant types of relations. Psychical states of low energy level are associated with emotional-patronizing type of relationship.
