    Abstract:
    В статье рассматривается актуальная проблема ограниченного активного избирательного права заключенных. Проводится анализ действующего законодательства, как правовой базы для ограничения данного права, делаются выводы о предоставления активного избирательного права заключенным. Разбираются возможные препятствия реализации данного нововведения. Автором дается прогноз на возможные последствия в случае предоставления активного избирательного права. Используются общенаучный, системный и логический методы исследования. Выводом данной работы является утверждение о правильности предоставления активного избирательного права осужденным к лишению свободы.

    В статье рассматриваются вопросы, касающиеся исторически-правовых аспектов развития избирательной системы в дореволюционный период в России. Приводятся правовые способы защиты от фальсификации и подлога, которые использовались в дореволюционный период при голосовании. Показана динамика и эволюция развития избирательного законодательства и способов его защиты на всем историческом этапе развития Российского государства до 1917 года. Используются нормативно-правовые документы и факты, подтверждающие представленные в статье доводы.

    The article discusses the main difficulties in recounting votes during the presidential election. The legislation and judicial practice on the issues of election legislation are analyzed. The study involved the historical method and the formal legal method, allowing to evaluate the current legislation and the changes that have taken place. The study identified the main problems of the recount of votes and their causes.

    Abstract:
    The article discusses the main directions of the latest practice of the US Supreme Court on the issues of suffrage and the process, which is of particular importance during the general elections in the USA held in 2020. The development of the pandemic has had a major impact on the 2020 election campaign and sparked a series of state-level litigation, as well as the US Supreme Court interference in the process. The article analyzes the positions of a divided Court in the framework of the relevant case.
