- Abstract:
- The article describes the possibilities of using the incentive material "Tula Literary Gingerbread" to develop speech comprehension in working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The diagnostic tools of the study are also presented, the stages of correctional and developmental work are considered. The effectiveness of the didactic manual is reflected in the results of the study. The work presented in the article was carried out within the framework of a grant from the Government of the Tula region in the field of science and technology (contract no. DS/156 dated 12/28/2024).

- Abstract:
- The article examines current approaches to diagnosing the perceptual sphere in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The importance of a comprehensive study of sensory processing is substantiated as a key element in developing effective correctional and developmental programs. Diagnostic methods are presented, including both traditional approaches (observation, psychodiagnostic tasks, rating scales) and modern tools (questionnaires, neurophysiological and digital technologies). Emphasis is placed on the need for an individualized approach when selecting diagnostic tools based on the child's age, developmental level, and sensory profile.

- Abstract:
- This chapter presents an analysis of the concept of childhood autism and examines theoretical approaches to the study of the specifics of the formation of self-service skills in preschool children suffering from autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Mastering self-service skills such as dressing, hygiene procedures, independent eating and toilet skills represent a key stage in a child's ontogenesis. These skills provide independence, boost self-esteem, and promote successful socialization. Theoretical analysis of the work proves that in children with ASD, the process of forming these skills is associated with certain difficulties due to developmental features, including difficulties in understanding verbal instructions, planning and implementing sequential actions, as well as increased sensory sensitivity.

- The article is devoted to the study of the family's role in the correction process of psychomotor development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Based on the analysis of pedagogical, psychological and specialized medical literature, the article reveals the specificity of the family work with a child. The description of the pedagogical and psychological strategies of work with the child with ASD to correct the psychomotor disorders is particularly important. It's pointed out that the necessity of including the families is important in the correction process.
