- Abstract. The article reveals the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of developing digital literacy in primary school children with delayed mental development. It analyzes the main theoretical approaches of Russian researchers and defines pedagogical conditions that ensure the development of digital competencies among students with special educational needs. The difficulties of information perception and processing typical of this group are highlighted, and methods for overcoming them are proposed.
