    Abstract:
    The authors turn to the theoretical and methodological foundations (the main provisions of systemic, informational, activity-based and personal approaches) of counseling as a potential for the development of a modern system of higher pedagogical education and the implementation of online courses of subject and methodological training. It is proved that consultations are an obligatory component of all structural elements of online courses. The authors present the results of experimental work on the testing of online courses at Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University to support the process of mastering and maintaining academic disciplines and practices of the subject-methodical module, as well as the replacement of academic disciplines and practices of this module, and present a model for embedding various types of consultations into online courses created and implemented in the educational process.

    Abstract:
    In science, there are many cases when it is necessary to abandon complex research methods in favor of simpler ones. This is due to the need to take into account a much larger number of factors, the complexity of implementation and, as a result, restrictions on the use in some cases. For many years, the authors have been engaged in the development and application of expert technologies in economics, geoecology, geography, and optimal choice problems. From their experience, they came to the conclusion that more complex technologies are not always justified. In the article intended for young scientist and postgraduate students, using the example of calculating weight coefficients, it is shown that simpler methods can give results similar to complex methods. But at the same time, you need to understand in what cases it is possible to make such a replacement.

  • Componentional Analysis of Verbs With a General Meaning “Manner of Movement” in English and Russian Languages

    Abstract:
    The article deals with problems of differentiating verb units with partially same meaning and the lexical meaning in modern dictionaries. The purpose of the research is to identify the integral and differential features of verbs with the common meaning “manner of movement” in English. Methods of research. In the process of the research the following research methods were used: descriptive method, method of opposition component analysis, associative experiment method, receptive experiment method, experimental method, contextual analysis. The object of the study are verbs: to dash, to parade, to race, to roam, to march, to shamble, to plod, to lumber, to shuffle, to stride, to stroll, to strut, to trudge, to wander. The authors of the article emphasize that the choice of these verb units is due to the fact that they are the most frequent lexemes representing the lexico-semantic group of verbs with the common meaning “manner of movement”. Research results. As a result of the lexicographic analysis it is turned out that the dictionary entries do not completely reveal the situation, and experimental analysis revealed additional components that depend on context.

    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to the development of the direction of work on the creation of qualitatively new innovative solutions to ensure the reliability of connections of machine elements. The recommendations are based on the analysis of studies on wear process of the fixed joints of machine elements during microdisplacements in contact under the influence of vibration at high temperatures. It is established that physical and chemical processes occurring in the area of actual contact of the joint elements are varied and the effect of temperature on tribological characteristics of frictional contact is complex, since with an increase in temperature the reduction of worn-out volume can occur as well as increase of it. To predict the resistance of the contact to fretting, it is necessary to conduct a force analysis on the contact and determine the spectral composition of vibrations affecting the friction contact.
