В статье рассматриваются основные направления благоустройства городской среды в северных регионах с акцентом на создание озеленённых пространств с учётом флоры, устойчивой к суровому климату, а также развитие освещения и сезонного дизайна с учётом полярной ночи и снежных условий.

    Abstract:
    The social infrastructure in the Arctic is at risk, as it weakly performs its function, particularly, the processes of creating conditions for the reproduction of the human capital are slowing down. This problem is relevant for the territories of all eight Arctic countries, which is confirmed by the results of the studies carried out within the framework of this work. As a result of the study, the main mechanisms for the development of social infrastructure used in the Arctic countries were identified. While preparing the work, the authors used the following research methods: analysis of literature, including regulatory documents, comparison, analogy.
