  • The Sacred Nature of White Stone in the Temple Construction of Andrey Bogolyubsky

    Abstract:
    The article deals with the issues of the sudden appearance of white-stone construction in the middle of the XII century in the North-East of Russia, in the Vladimir Principality, which are practically not affected by science. The purpose of the study is to identify the most likely sources that influenced the process of origin and formation of the unique style of Vladimir-Suzdal architecture during the reign of Andrei Bogolyubsky (1157–1177). The research methods were reduced not only to the analysis of the Old Testament texts, with which the Great Vladimir Prince was well acquainted and admired their heroes during the construction of his white-stone churches, but also to the identification of the peculiarity of the current situation, individual facts of the prince's activity and the nature of his character, which became an active incentive to the introduction of white stone instead of bricks, which took a sacred character for Andrey Bogolyubsky. The result of the study is as follows: first, the symbolism of the white color, drawn from the biblical testaments of the consubstantial God, became the leitmotif for the architectural creations of the Vladimir prince; second, the perceived Old Testament building traditions stimulated the growth of original forms of Vladimir-Suzdal white stone architecture, which have no close analogies in the entire area of neighboring countries. In the light of the current inclusion of white stone buildings in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the aspect of their study not only brings scientific novelty to the already established interpretation, but also entails a rethinking of the practical orientation of restoration and restoration work on them.

    Abstract:
    The issues of various sanctions’ reflection in accounting systems of economic entities have always caused a lot of questions. Currently the number of disputes leading to fines, late fees and penalties for construction contracts has increased considerably in parallel with the growth of sanctions. All the above-mentioned leads to an increased interest in the legality and correctness of these sanctions’ calculation as well as to the organization of accounting and taxation of business operations. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop organizational and methodological recommendations of the reflection of penalties in the accounting system of business entities based on the specific sectoral character of the construction industry. The study implies the examination of the accounting regulations and legal acts defining legal relations of construction contracts’ parties along with the analysis of problems revealed by the survey that economic practitioners face and the consideration of economists’ opinions related to analytical accounting of various sanctions. The research has used the following general scientific methods of theoretical cognition as description, analysis and synthesis, data synthesis and formalization, abstraction and specification. As a result, eight subsequent stages of the definition, assessment and reflection of financial burden actors resulting from various types of violations of treaty relations have been defined and described. The consistent implementation of these recommendations paves the way for the timely and transparent provision of information allowing managers not only to control the costs involved, but also to identify perpetrators and responsible persons whose actions or inactions resulted in additional costs as well as to detect the cost centers and their impact on the financial outcome of individual contracts.

  • Specifics of the Mosaic Reflection Method of Elements of Ethnic Culture

    Abstract:
    The article reveals the specifics of the methodology for studying ethnic elements of culture. The nomological paradigm of reflection of the socio-humanitarian sphere constituted the scientific status of ethno-cultural knowledge, at the same time leveling the subjective aspects, created a unification of forms and content, which inevitably led to a distortion of its actual parameters. As a tool for overcoming the imperfection of the classical principles of reflecting the phenomena of ethnic culture, they proposed a method of mosaic reconstruction that allows us to identify the relationship between elements of ethnic culture on the basis of common values. Mosaic reconstruction of ethnic culture reveals the logical relationship between its elements, forms of manifestation, and the totality of prerequisites and grounds. In a general sense, the method of mosaic reconstructions involves the following procedures, such as fixing specific ethnic elements of culture, creating a complex of links of ethnocultural integrity, determining the principles of interaction of system elements with the external and internal environment, applying the mechanism for restoring cultural integrity based on the principles of a cultural research program, visualizing a holistic image ethnic culture. The methodology of mosaic reconstruction is based on the fact that culture is the product of a social form of existence that expresses itself in the corresponding spheres of social activity, the restoration of which in its entirety is a necessary condition for creating an exhaustive image of culture. The author comes to the conclusion that mosaic reconstruction of ethnic culture reveals the logical relationship between its elements, forms of manifestation, and the totality of prerequisites and grounds.

    Modern information technology gives a person the opportunity to engage in research and creativity. Creative potential in modern society is very much appreciated in any profession, therefore it needs to be opened and developed as early as possible. An important component of information technology are computer systems that a person uses in almost all areas of his life. Among these areas can be identified architecture, design and construction. Today, there are a huge number of pro-grams that allow you to simulate realistic three-dimensional objects in construction and environmental design. The list of applications that are used for everyday life is great. Such software includes: Autodesk 3Ds Max, Autodesk Revit, Blender, Floor-Plan 3D, Google SketchUp Pro, Home 3D, VisiCon, Sweet Home 3D. The article lists only some of them. Also reflects their features, the advantages that can help further study. The choice of the program for 3D modeling was made in favor of SketchUp. This is due to the fact that this software product has a number of advantages and not so many free-access courses have been developed for it. The advantages of SketchUp include its accessibility to a wide range of users, ease of operation, which makes it easier for even the most inexperienced user to learn how to work in this program. Creative potential is now very much appreciated in any profession, there-fore it needs to be opened and developed as early as possible. And it is SketchUp that easily helps anyone to do this, at any age.

    Precast-monolithic construction is developing very rapidly, and the level of specialists at the construction site is falling, therefore, the factors affecting the quality of monolithic works is becoming more and more. The impact of technological imperfections on the bearing capacity becomes more relevant than ever. Today, all the normative documents and official guidelines do not allow to estimate the strength and deformability of reinforced concrete structures accurately enough. Actual, at the moment, is a precise study of reinforced concrete elements, including the features of deformation and destruction of precast-monolithic reinforced concrete structures, taking into account the influence of non-linearity of materials, the level of pre-stress and modeling of the contact seam.
