Effective development of phonetic skills using online platforms in English language teaching

- In the modern methodology of teaching English, the problem of finding effective means of developing students' phonetic competence is urgent. The article suggests a solution to this problem through the use of online platforms in English lessons. The options for using the online platform "Playphrase. Me" at different stages of the lesson. It is proved that the use of online platforms helps to increase motivation, engagement and effectiveness of teaching the phonetic side of speech. The research results can be used by English language teachers to optimize the learning process.

- The article examines the issue of sound reproduction of primary school children with functional dyslalia. In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in the number of children with speech disorders. Such disorders have a significant impact on child's mental development, which is reflected in his behavior and activities. Severe speech disorders can affect the child's mental development, i.e. the formation of higher levels of cognitive activity. This is due to the close relationship between speech and thinking which can affect the limits of speech contacts of the child, their knowledge of the surrounding reality.
