  • Semantic space of color in religious culture: psychological and pedagogical aspect of identity formation.

    Abstract:
    This article examines the relationship between the semantic meaning of color and religious identity from a cultural studies perspective. The aim of the study is to identify the specifics of color associations using Orthodox Christians and atheists as examples. The study utilizes the Religious Commitment Inventory (RCI-10), the Questionnaire on Color Semantics in Religious Context (QCS-RC), and Yu. V. Shcherbatykh's Test of the Structure of Individual Religiosity. The results confirm that color symbolism acts as a stable marker of an individual's cultural code, influencing self-identification processes. The findings can be used in psychological and pedagogical support for the development of interreligious dialogue in the educational environment.

    Abstract:
    The achievements of modern domestic historiography in the field of relations between the Soviet state and the Russian Orthodox Church during the Great Patriotic War are considered. Among the problems that have been most reflected in regional historiography in recent years are the participation of clergy in charity and the Pskov spiritual mission, the activities of commissioners for the affairs of the Russian Orthodox Church, the transfer of dioceses under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate.

    Abstract:
    В статье предпринимается попытка объяснить противоречия религиозной жизни заключенных в 1917 – начале 1920-х гг. Главной причиной назревающего социального конфликта был отказ советского руководства реализовать право заключенных на свободу вероисповедания. Разрыв ценностей между тюремным населением, стремившимся сохранить привычный религиозный уклад, и тюремной администрацией, реализовывавшей антицерковную политику советского правительства, привел к глубокому кризису советской пенитенциарной системы. Подавляя религиозные чувства, советская уголовная доктрина на первых порах не смогла предложить достойную альтернативу религиозному воспитанию заключенных.
