    Abstract:
    The article is devoted to preserving the continuity of two generations of the sons of the Chuvash people in the defense of the Fatherland. The exploits of the representatives of the older generation who defended their homeland – the Soviet Union in the fight against the fascist invaders in 1941–1945 and the successors of their cause – the sons of officers who served in the Russian Armed Forces. Their role and place in strengthening the country's defense capability and patriotic education of young people are revealed.

    The article examines the evacuation of industrial enterprises from the frontline areas of the Soviet Union located in the Saratov region. The article studies what specialization the evacuated factories were, from which regions and cities they were moved, where they were housed upon arrival, what production they produced at the place, where the evacuated workers were housed, how the entire evacuation process was managed.

    Abstract:
    The article considers the problem of ignorance of the Russian language by Red Army soldiers and junior commanders of the Red Army and the way out of this situation in 1941–1943 by political bodies. The language barrier during the Great Patriotic War affected not only the combat capability of units made up of representatives of different peoples of the USSR, but also led to conflicts. One of the methods of working with fighters of non-Russian nationalities was propaganda work in the native languages of these fighters.

    Abstract:
    В рамках исследования авторы провели попытку обращения к карикатурам 1930-х гг. и современным интернет-мемам с целью выявления их особенностей и перспективности использования при изучении международных отношений. В качестве основного материала исследования были выбраны карикатуры китайского иллюстративного журнала «Шидай маньхуа», выходившего в Шанхае в 1934–1937 гг., советского журнала «Крокодил», выпуски которого неизменно включали в себя сатиру по международной повестке, и современные интернет-мемы. Авторы обратились к системно-структурному подходу и методике сравнительно-сопоставительного анализа. Также были использованы методы визуальной истории, кросс-культурных исследований и имагологический подход, позволивший изучить «графический образ» России, Китая и ряда других стран, являвшихся героями карикатур и интернет-мемов. Результаты исследования показали, что в советских карикатурах 1930-х гг. Китай рассматривался лишь в контексте глобального идеологического противостояния и использовался для осуждения Японии, Германии, западных капиталистов. Во многом схожим было отношение к СССР у китайских карикатуристов, на работах которых он представал лишь одним из ряда других сильных государств – потенциальных агрессоров. Обращение к современным китайским мемам показывает, что с одной стороны, Россия не воспринимается как соперник и тем более враг. При этом оно демонстрирует невысокий уровень интереса китайцев к северному соседу. Российские мемы отражают иную ситуацию. В отличие от официально тиражируемых слов о прочности российско-китайской дружбы и доверии, мемы часто показывают потенциальную опасность Китая для России, то есть речь идет о несоответствии государственных установок и реального образа Китая и китайцев, формирующихся среди интернет-пользователей.

  • Formation of patriotic consciousness of students in history lessons (on the example of the Battle of Khalkhin-Gol)

    Abstract:
    The authors, based on poorly studied documents and secondary sources, consider the events on Khalkhin Gol in the context of the development of military-political and economic processes in East Asia, primarily related to the Sin War. The authors claim that the Japanese militarists did not abandon their plans of aggression against the USSR after Khalkhin-Gol, and the cessation of hostilities against the Red Army and the MNR troops was caused by the position of politicians in the leadership of Japan. Due to the pressure of the militarists on the Japanese government and parliament, rapprochement between the USSR and Japan became extremely difficult after December 1939. The authors argue that the decision of the Japanese government to stop fighting on the Khalkhin-Gol River was caused by the complication of the economic situation in Japan itself as a result of the outbreak of World War II and the prolongation of the Sin War.

    In recent years, Russia has shown a high interest in Soviet economic history, which is largely due to the critical understanding of state economic policy in the post-Soviet period. In this regard, this article is relevant from the point of view of expanding the theoretical and methodological base of the historical and economic analysis of the USSR. This article provides a rethinking of the economic development of the USSR on the basis of calculations of personal savings and the share of household consumption in GDP and comparisons of these indicators with Western ones.

    Статья посвящена обзору советско-российской литературы по проблеме научно-технического сотрудничества между СССР и КНДР. Автором проанализированы научные работы, относящиеся к теме экономического развития Северной Кореи, для чего были применены историко-генетический и историко-сравнительный методы. Выявлено, что советские и российские ученые рассматривали проблему с отличающихся друг от друга позиций, что обусловлено цензурой и засекреченностью информации. Исследователь пришел к выводу, что на данный момент тема недостаточно освещена и требует более глубокого изучения.

    Abstract:
    В статье рассматривается влияние реформы университетского образования, проведенной в рамках общегосударственного реформирования советской высшей школы (1930-ые гг.) на развитие крупнейшего регионального вуза – Дальневосточного государственного университета (ДВГУ) (г. Владивосток). Выделены последствия реформирования (изменение организационной структуры, перепрофилирование подготовки), сделан вывод об их отрицательных результатах в виде разрушения сложившихся научных направлений, слабости материальной базы вуза после восстановления работы в 1931 г., нехватке научно-педагогических кадров.
