    Abstract:
    In the context of geopolitical instability and economic turmoil, the study of regional development of small and medium-sized businesses is particularly relevant, since this sector plays a key role in innovation, job creation and economic growth. Business development in Russia varies significantly across regions due to many factors, including economic activity in the region, the level of infrastructure development, access to financing and support from the authorities. The purpose of the study is to study the regional aspects of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship development. The article uses such research methods as analysis of theoretical sources, study of statistical data, comparative analysis. The indicators characterizing the development of entrepreneurship, its financing and lending in the Republic of Tatarstan over several years were analyzed.

  • Socio-economic support measures in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

    Abstract:
    The outbreak of COVID-19, which began in December 2019, was declared an emergency in the field of public health of international importance by the World Health Organization on January 30, 2020, and a pandemic on March 11. The coronavirus epidemic has become one of the main threats to the global economy and financial markets. A paradoxical situation has developed in many countries: Governments needed to stop the spread of a new global disease, but restrictions on movement, quarantine, suspension of activities in many enterprises, as well as the transition to remote work from home have severely shaken the economic condition of these countries. Understanding all the negative consequences of the coronavirus, the state has taken certain steps to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and to restore the economy. In this article, we will look at the problems that COVID-19 has led to, as well as specific measures to support the state in the economic, social and health spheres.

  • Econometric modeling of the number of small and medium-sized businesses in the Southern Federal District

    Abstract:
    The article builds an econometric additive time series model based on quarterly data on the number of small and medium-sized businesses in the Southern Federal District, and also calculates a forecast for the data of the indicator under consideration for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2022.
