  • Role-Play as the Mode of Development of Foreign Language Presentation Skills

    Abstract:
    The purpose of the article is to consider role-playing in the process of foreign language training at technical universities. The introduced form of the educational process contributes to the formation of foreign language presentation skills in a professional field of a future engineer. A foreign language competence confirms a high competency of a specialist. Role-playing business situations in an educational process are carried out on the basis of an integrated approach where knowledge from the professional field is transferred to the game with the help of a foreign language. Methods of creating typical situations at work in the classroom contribute to the formation of a favorable environment for the development of business qualities and foreign language skills in a professional sphere. In the course of the research a three-stage structure of role-playing, its content in relation to the stated conditions are described. Difficulties that arise during the game and possible methods to overcome them are listed. It is concluded that role-playing related to the professional activities of future engineers motivate them to learn a foreign language and bring the learning process closer to real professional communication. The practical experience gained in the classroom will be a valuable experience for making a successful career in the field of engineering.

    In the process of studying the economic category «tax control», results were obtained that indicate a significant impact of information and the formation of information flows that determine, in general, the information component of the development of society, which, in turn, affected the process of isolating the control function of taxes, which has become a key and an independent function in the tax system of the state. The growth of the level and quality of information technology makes it possible to fill the content of the control function of taxes. On the other hand, tax control, which is an objective form of expressing the control function of taxes, over time has transformed into a tool that ensures the functioning of the system for monitoring cash and financial flows from financial and economic entities, as the basis for creating their taxable base, as well as the basis for formation of an effective system for forecasting and planning tax revenues to the country's budget system, at its different levels.

Совокупность наиболее значимых и устойчивых ценностей российского общества – ценностных аксиом – до сих пор находится в стадии трансформации, проводимой в изменившейся аксиосфере российских СМИ, продолжающих и даже усиливающих нападки на главных носителей традиционных русских ценностей – преподавателей средней и высшей школы.

    Abstract:
    Electronic educational resources including testing, which simplify the process of searching and structuring educational information have been used more often in educational organizations recently. They have made learning more accessible and interesting for students of higher and vocational education institutions, especially in the context of a pandemic. The article provides a brief theoretical justification of the advantages of testing students' academic achievements. The emphasis is placed on the importance of testing as a tool for remote control of students' knowledge, the advantages and disadvantages of using tests both in the educational process of higher and secondary vocational education and in order to control the acquired knowledge are revealed. The study was carried out by the authors on the basis of a comprehensive use of theoretical and empirical methods. The leading theoretical methods were: analysis, generalization, concretization, forecasting, modeling. The work used such empirical methods as conversations, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, expert evaluation, testing, analysis of performance, generalization of pedagogical experience, methods of statistical processing of experimental data. The results presented in the article of the study of testing of students of MPSU at the initial (entrance test), current and final stage of measuring the level of educational achievements of students demonstrated an increase in the values of the effectiveness of testing at all stages of its implementation, an increase in the effectiveness of test control at the intermediate and final stages of the study. The results of the study made it possible to formulate promising directions for the development of problems of testing the quality of education of students of higher and professional education organizations: improving the forms and methods of analysis and interpretation of test results based on the invariant application of test models: improving the psychological and pedagogical orientation of the use of the testing algorithm for personalized learning trajectories in the practice of mass education, etc.
