In the article, authors analyzed modern ap-proaches to the use of information technology in the educational process as a means of developing motivation for educational activities. Modern society needs creative individuals capable of introspection, independent decision-making and aware of their responsibility for the well-being and socio-economic development of the state.

    Information technologies in education are a prerequisite for the modern educational process. They not only help children with special educational needs to learn material more effectively, but also develop their key skills and competencies. Educational institutions within the framework of the state digitalization program are equipped with modern equipment, and teachers master them, along with their students and students. The article analyzes modern approaches to the use of infor-mation technologies in education in order to develop the motivation of children with disabilities to study for the development of their individual abilities, skills of independent and creative thinking, as well as systematization and generalization of acquired knowledge.
