- Abstract:
- The article points to a large number of wars over the historical path of Russia. This fact contributed to the formation of the Russian national identity and its main component – patriotism. The directions in the approaches of the study of patriotism are revealed, as well as the views of scientists on the development of patriotism among cadets of military universities. Attention is focused on explaining the position of the state on the need to protect its interests not only on its territory, but also outside the Fatherland.
