    Abstract:
    The article analyzes the concept of "service to the Fatherland" as a fundamental traditional value, the protection of which is recognized as a strategic national priority. It substantiates the importance of fostering patriotic attitudes in adolescents, as well as the relevance of searching for and implementing updated socio-cultural formats of education applicable in schools and institutions of additional education. A step-by-step plan for introducing adolescents to the phenomenon of the special military operation is proposed. The author presents a pilot version of the board game "Service to the Fatherland" as an example of a socio-cultural practice that enables the organization of joint activities of schoolchildren, taking into account their age characteristics and in a fundamentally new — game-based — key.

  • Linguistic Means of Expressing the Russian Cultural Code in the Texts of the March “Farewell of Slavianka”

    Abstract:
    The article concerns linguistic means of expressing the Russian cultural code in the texts of the march “Farewell of Slavianka”. The article is devoted to the study of the functioning of lexical and grammatical means of expressing the Russian cultural code in the five most famous versions of the text of V. I. Agapkin’s march “Farewell of Slavianka” based on the scientific works of Russian and foreign linguists. The linguistic material is systematized and described using contextual and comparative analysis, as well as quantitative calculations. It has been revealed that each of the five versions of the march's lyrics, given their different historical and ideological contexts, embodies in its own way the specific features of the Russian cultural code, which are embodied and expressed through lexical features (the lexical repetition of keywords from certain thematic groups, lexical synonyms, and antonymous pairs) and grammatical features (the frequent use of imperative verbs, personal, possessive, and definitive pronouns, and the active use of appeals and emotionally charged imperative sentences). These features are used in close connection and interaction with one another, serving as important means of expressing the Russian cultural code. The harmony of the words and music of the march “Farewell of Slavianka” creates a sense of a special emotional mood, spiritual uplift, pride in the country and its people, and a sense of belonging to the events described. These qualities make the “Farewell of Slavianka” march one of the most important and vibrant bearers and exponents of the Russian cultural code.

    Abstract:
    The article discusses some problematic issues related to the improvement of the system of military-patriotic education of Russian youth at the current stage. It analyzes the goals, objectives, and methods of military-patriotic education implemented by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in particular, in cooperation with government agencies and public organizations. Special attention is given to a critical analysis of the regulatory legal framework, organizational forms, and practical results of activities in this area. Based on the results of a comparative legal analysis, certain proposals are formulated for using the experience of military-patriotic education in China, involving veterans of wars and armed conflicts.     Abstract:
    The preservation and strengthening of traditional values is the main vector of Russia's future development as a civilizational state. This paper examines the specifics of teaching the course, and reveals the experience of implementing the academic discipline «Fundamentals of Russian Statehood» in 2023–2025 academic years. The author focuses on the evolution of the interpretation of the term «values» and its understanding in modern social sciences and humanities. Attention is drawn to the importance of the education system in shaping the traditional values of Russian students. In this paper, methodological recommendations and discussion problems that emerged during the teaching of the training course are formulated. It is concluded that the key direction of the future development of Russia as a state-civilization is the organization of a system of targeted education and upbringing, especially among Russian students. Higher education as a social institution instills in the younger generation traditional values and ideals that are translated into professional activities and preserve the continuity of generations.

    Conscientious and responsible attitude to military service, loyalty to the oath are distinctive features of the Chuvash mentality. These qualities were especially vividly manifested during the Great Patriotic War. Service in the army and defence of the Motherland as a man's civic duty are considered as one of the main values of the Russian society. Old soldier's blessings and family front stories can be used in the formation of a sense of patriotism and citizenship of modern young men.
