- Based on the theoretical analysis of bibliographic sources, the possibilities of organizing a training course in the discipline «Foreign language» on the basis of a differentiated modular principle are determined. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the content of educational modules in the study of the German language. The importance of rating the knowledge of students of non-linguistic areas of training through the modular construction of the training course in the context of the trend of digitalization of higher education is emphasized. As a result, qualitative and quantitative indicators of language acquisition for each structural element are presented, which allow us to trace the dynamics of the formation of students' foreign language communicative competence.
