- Abstract:
- The article discusses modern approaches to foreign language teaching, emphasizing the use of virtual excursions as an effective method that promotes the development of language and cultural skills. Virtual excursions, which utilize contemporary digital technologies such as 3D modeling and augmented reality, provide learners with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the language environment and broaden their cultural horizons, which is vital in the context of international communication. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the potential of using virtual excursions in foreign language teaching at a non-linguistic university. The research was conducted at the Yakovlev’s University, where future teachers participated in a series of virtual excursions focusing on the history and culture of Great Britain. The research methodology included surveys, observations, and semi-structured interviews, allowing an assessment of the students’ language preparedness and engagement before and after the implementation of the innovative teaching method. The results showed a significant improvement in language skills, perception of authentic audio and video materials, as well as knowledge of the cultural aspects of the studied language countries.

- Abstract:
- The work is devoted to the practical implementation of the Pareto principle in the process of language training of students of non-linguistic specialties of the university. Due to the organization of the learning process on the basis of the course, which is based on the 80/20 rule, attention is focused on the direct perception of information, a conscious approach of students to their learning activities, the perception of educational activities as an imitation modeling of a real language environment, readiness for full and productive communication in a foreign language, taking into account its cultural characteristics are formed. Important advantages of the developed course are the focus on the practical use of the language, the acquisition of useful experience of communication with native speakers. The knowledge gained through this method becomes a valuable asset and helps to cope with any communicative tasks in a foreign language. The conducted experimental work has confirmed that students whose learning process was organized on the basis of the Pareto principle achieve significant results in learning a foreign language faster than with traditional teaching methods.

- Abstract:
- The article explores the prospects of using virtual reality (VR) technologies in the process of extracurricular education for school children studying the Chinese language. The potential of VR to create an interactive language environment that enhances motivation, improves retention, and deepens understanding of the material is analyzed. The study includes an experiment demonstrating the effectiveness of VR technologies compared to traditional teaching methods. The experiment's results show that the use of virtual reality significantly improves the acquisition of the Chinese language among schoolchildren and contributes to the development of individualized learning approaches.
