  • Logical Classification Algorithm for Phishing Domain Detection in Cybersecurity Analysis

    Abstract:
    This study investigates the application of decision trees for detecting phishing domains based on URL attributes. A logical classification algorithm searching for conjunctive patterns was applied to a dataset comprising 112 structural and server-related features. The decision tree model achieved an error rate of 3.26%. Key significant factors identified include the quantity of slashes in the URL (40.3%), domain activation time (16.8%), and directory length (14.06%). The results confirm the high efficiency and interpretability of rule-based machine learning for cybersecurity threat mitigation.

    Abstract:
    The article examines the role of the English language in the educational process of cybersecurity specialists in the context of digital transformation of modern education. The relevance of the study is determined by the widespread of the English terminology in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity. The paper considers the influence of digital educational technologies, online learning platforms and international digital resources on the professional education of students. Close attention is paid to the specifics of using the English terminology in technical documentation, software interfaces and cybersecurity training systems. The results display that knowledge of the special English terminology contributes to the development of student’s professional competencies, increases the effectiveness of training future cybersecurity specialists.

    Abstract:
    This article explores the "dark side" of digital transformation, examining risks such as cyberthreats, algorithmic bias, and digital dependency. A student survey revealed a critical gap between the sophistication of technological threats and the digital naivety of Generation Z, which poses serious reputational and ethical risks for businesses. It concludes that integrating digital risk management into corporate strategy is essential, including developing transparency and algorithmic literacy. It argues that responsible data and AI governance is becoming a new source of competitive advantage and trust in the digital economy.

    Abstract:
    The article analyzes economic risks arising from English-language phishing attacks aimed at financial institutions. Special attention is paid to linguistic manipulation as a key mechanism of social engineering that influences user behavior. The research examines typical linguistic patterns used in phishing messages and evaluates their impact on direct and indirect financial losses. The methodological basis of the study includes analysis of academic literature, industry reports, and concepts from behavioral economics and cognitive psychology. The results indicate that linguistic manipulation significantly increases the effectiveness of phishing attacks by exploiting cognitive biases and reducing critical perception. The conclusions may be applied in the development of risk assessment models and preventive cybersecurity measures in the financial sector.

    Abstract:
    The chapter considers the issue of criminal-legal protection of information security at the international level. The main attention is paid to the national legislation of the USA, Great Britain, France and Germany in this area. The main regulatory legal acts aimed at ensuring cybersecurity, as well as liability mechanisms for violations in the field of information security are analyzed. Various aspects of information resource protection are considered, including the protection of state secrets, privacy and critical information infrastructure facilities. An analysis of international experience in countering crimes in the field of information security revealed key problems: difficulties in identifying intruders, difficulties in investigating and solving crimes. It is proposed to create an international convention on information security under the auspices of the UN. It is concluded that the regionalization of acts can lead to an increase in attacks from countries that have not signed the agreement. It is important to regulate liability for recording non-public conversations, dissemination of criminally obtained data and fraudulent access to protected information.

The author analyzes the main challenges associated with the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, such as insufficient teacher training, technical limitations, and digital security issues. The article also highlights the prospects for the development of digital education, including increasing student motivation, personalizing learning, and expanding access to high-quality educational materials. Recommendations are proposed for the effective use of SDR in secondary schools, including improving the digital literacy of teachers and creating an infrastructure to support digital learning.

    Abstract:
    In the context of the rapid transition to digital learning formats, cybersecurity is becoming one of the key tasks for educational institutions. The article "Cybersecurity in digital Education: Protecting the data of students and teachers" examines the main threats faced by participants in the educational process, including leaks of personal information, cyber attacks and fraud. Special attention is paid to data protection methods such as encryption, multi-factor authentication and user training in the basics of cybersecurity. Legislative aspects and standards governing the protection of personal data in the educational environment are also discussed. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the importance of creating a culture of cybersecurity in educational institutions, which contributes not only to the protection of information, but also to increasing the trust of students and teachers in digital educational platforms.
