Abstract

In the chapter examines the current problems of teaching and learning a foreign language. The author will raise questions not so much of a theoretical nature, but how to solve them. The paper attempts to show how, when planning and designing a lesson, to focus on practical points dictated and recommended by didactic and pedagogical theory. The author considers the methodological organization of teaching a foreign language in a regional university, the reaction to the problems of traditional and digital teaching and learning, set out as consistent theoretical foundations before specific methodological recommendations. The research is aimed at supporting all teachers who want to purposefully and quickly prepare for the methodological planning, development and conduct of classes.
