some principles, in accordance with which admission to the lyceum mathematical class is organized, are formulated in the chapter. Written entrance work and oral interview are described. It is told about the use of algorithmic puzzles for diagnostic purposes. The expediency of transition to the profile class of students with different mental abilities is analyzed. Some features of learning technology are described.
