The management of information flows (data) of national statistical services requires the development of mechanisms that ensure a broad description of statistical indicators included in the statistical work plan of the relevant organizations, consistent with certain norms (requirements). The article examines the key approaches to the formation of "quality passports of statistical indicators" and assesses the possibility of applying the relevant experience in Russian practice.
