this chapter presents an analysis of the concept of childhood autism and examines theoretical approaches to the study of the specifics of the formation of self-service skills in preschool children suffering from autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Mastering self-service skills such as dressing, hygiene procedures, independent eating and toilet skills represent a key stage in a child's ontogenesis.
