The article is devoted to the study of preferred accommodation facilities in youth tourism. The study revealed a number of new trends in youth tourism: the choice of a minimum set of meals in a hotel (breakfasts); the desire for comfortable accommodation in hotels and inns. 36.1% of young tourists prefer to stay in a hotel, 28.4% value the service, so they choose hotels, less than 3% rest in hostels, camp sites or tents. The article is devoted to the study of the role of the level of income of young people, which affects the choice of vacation format and accommodation facilities. The study revealed a number of features in youth recreation: the most popular accommodation options were hotels (33.1%) and hotels (34.3%).
