Budget Policy and Health Insurance: Prospects for Development

The article examines the role of the compulsory medical insurance system in the implementation of the budget policy of the Russian Federation. The revenues, expenditures, and interbudgetary transfers of the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund are analyzed. The key problems of budgetary support for medical insurance are identified. The article proposes directions for improving the budget policy aimed at increasing the sustainability of the compulsory medical insurance system, optimizing financial flows, and improving the accessibility of medical services for the population.
