This article analyzes the adaptation process to public speaking among young people of various age groups. The study, conducted on a sample of schoolchildren and students in the Ivanovo region, demonstrates a knowledge and skill deficit in presentation skills. The author substantiates the need for targeted training, including developing competencies in structuring material, correctly defining a topic for a presentation, and applying strategies to attract and retain audience attention.
