Developing spelling acuity in Russian language lessons in elementary school
Annotation
the chapter is devoted to the problem of developing orthographic vigilance in primary school students. It proposes a system of work that includes the development of phonemic hearing, visual memory, and algorithmic thinking. Effective methods and techniques are presented: orthographic reading, commented writing, game technologies, and the «little window» method. The chapter describes examples of lesson fragments for grades 2–4, differentiated tasks, and techniques for preventing dysgraphia and working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
