- Abstract:

- Abstract:
- The relevance of the chapter topic is due to the fact that very little attention is paid to the sound culture of schoolchildren's speech when teaching in general educational institutions. Recent studies have shown a large percentage of first graders who have speech impairments, in particular oral, when they enter school. Speech disorders affect not only the child's communication skills and learning outcomes in the disciplines «Russian language» and «Literature». The cognitive sphere of a child is a world of close interconnections, where a violation or underdevelopment of one of the structures slows down or disrupts the development of another. Deviations in speech development impede the formation of verbal-logical thinking, operations of analysis, synthesis, generalization, and classification, which leads not only to difficulties in mastering the program material of individual disciplines, but also generally negatively affects the cognitive development of the child. We see the search for effective approaches to solving this problem in STEAM education, an ever-growing direction, implying an approach in which several subject areas are integrated into interdisciplinary project and research activities. Having studied the existing developments in the framework of special education, we see a real possibility and need to develop a methodological manual based on the STEAM approach in order to form the sound culture of schoolchildren's speech.

- Abstract:
- Voice is a unique means of communication and socialization of a person, the formation of a vast human multicultural space. It is used in a wide variety of professions and is a function with an interdisciplinary affiliation, therefore hygiene, health preservation, and voice restoration have a systemic convergent (interdisciplinary) nature. This problem is dealt with by specialists of pedagogical and medical profiles (speech therapists, phonopedists, phoniatrists, otolaryngologists). Higher school teachers have excessive voice and psychoemotional stress, recently complicated by distance learning. In the course of their work, they must meet the requirements for their voice quality in the process of performing teaching. The object of the research is the state of vocal abilities among teachers of higher education. Subject – generalization of methods of voice restoration among teachers of higher education, actualization of the importance of preventive and hygienic work to prevent professional voice disorders. The working hypothesis of the study consists of the assumption that timely diagnosis and systematic use of selected speech therapy and phonopedic measures will optimize the process of restoring laryngeal functions among university teachers. This paper describes an empirical study of the characteristics of the voice in high school teachers (Pacific State University), identifies the main factors affecting voice health and the causes of their occurrence. Based on the analysis of the survey data obtained from the survey and previously conducted theoretical and practical research, materials (brochures) and videos (master classes) on hygiene and prevention of voice disorders were prepared for university teachers. The scientific contribution of the research consists in obtaining empirical results in the designated problem field, combining speech therapy and phonopedic scientific and methodological materials for practical use by persons with voice-speech professions. The direction of future research will be to expand the group of respondents (teachers, educators, students) for diagnostic measurements and subsequent comparative analysis of the data obtained.

Methods. The criteria analysis of linguistic, speech therapy, pedagogical and ethnographic literature, as well as summative and formative assessment within the framework of empirical research were main research methods. The hypothesis on effective means of correcting alalia in preschoolers in the structure of the complex method that can be used in small folklore forms was tested. Results. Small folklore forms are considered as productive cognitive and semantic categories, which, in properly built correctional work with preschoolers with motor alalia, can contribute to the formation of their language competence. The problems and significant rehabilitation resources of children's folklore in the speech therapy correction of motor alalia in preschoolers are structured. The difficulties of using children's folklore as speech material in the process of speech therapy correction are presented. And also, significant rehabilitation resources of small folklore forms are pointed out. A clinical event of a five-year-old girl's successful getting rid of motor alalia by using of counting-out rhyme was analyzed.
