    The quality of education, academic results of students directly depend on motivation for learning as one of the effective tools. The chapter is the result of theoretical analysis of studies by domestic and foreign scientists on the development of students' motivation for learning. The purpose of the study is to systematize scientific research on the phenomenon of students' motivation to gain knowledge in an educational organization. The approaches of scientists to understanding motivation for learning, various types of classifications of this phenomenon, the causes and mechanisms of its development are considered. And also the role of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process as a modern method of increasing the level of motivation for learning in students is highlighted.

    Введено понятие «учебная эмоциональная направленность» (УЭН) и проведено пилотное исследование по выявлению связей учебной эмоциональной направленности с конкретными мотивами учения старшеклассников. Использовались методики «Диагностика мотивации учения школьников» (Бадмаева, 2004) и авторский пилотный инструмент из четырех пунктов-утверждений, направленных на выявление основных составляющих учебной эмоциональной направленности (УЭН) старших школьников. В пилотном исследовании, проведенном в Google-форме, добровольно и анонимно приняли участие 29 школьников 10–11 классов. При обработке данных использовался корреляционный анализ (по Спирмену). Результаты исследования показали, что учебная эмоциональная направленность (УЭН) и мотивы учения тесно связаны между собой, что проявляется в большом числе корреляций между пунктами-утверждениями обоих исследовательских инструментов, направленных на изучение каждого из этих двух уровней мотивации учения. УЭН показала больше достоверных корреляционных связей с мотивами учения «деятельностного спектра», чем с мотивами учения «социального спектра».

  • The connection of ideas about parents with the motives of teaching older adolescents

    Abstract:
    The study is devoted to the research of older adolescents' ideas about their parents' attitude towards them and the relationships of these ideas with the motives of learning. A correlation study was performed based on a voluntary, anonymous online survey of older adolescents conducted in a Google form. The main sample for studying the relationships between the motives of learning and the ideas of older adolescents about their parents' attitude towards them consisted of 111 students in grades 9–11 and college students aged 14–18 years. Two methods were used: the questionnaire «Adolescents about parents» (ADOR), which allows assessing adolescents' ideas of their parents' attitude towards them separately for mothers and fathers (Wasserman et al., 2001); the questionnaire «Comprehensive assessment of motivation for learning activities» (Vartanova, 2000). Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) was used in data processing. The results showed the presence of a stable core of significant correlations, manifested for both mothers and fathers, between adolescents' ideas about their parents' attitude towards them and the motives of learning. The stable core of the relationships consisted of two positive correlations between the scale of parents' «positive interest» in an adolescent's life and studies and the pilot scales of learning motives selected from the unified scale of motivation for learning activities, such as «the motive of caring for the future» and «the motive of being a professional student». The stable core also includes a negative correlation of the scale of parents' «inconsistency» towards the adolescent with his «motive of caring for the future». In addition, differences were found in the correlations between adolescents' ideas of their mothers' attitude and their fathers' attitude towards them with pilot scales of adolescents' motives of learning.

  • Factors of formation of psychological readiness for motherhood

    Abstract:
    The article examines the key factors of the formation of the maternal position among women, analyzes various aspects of the formation of motherhood as a systemic education. The interrelation of biological and social determinants in the formation of maternal behavior is investigated, the mechanisms of influence of instinctive and cultural factors on the development of the maternal sphere are revealed. Special attention is paid to the stages of the ontogenesis of the maternal sphere, starting from the prenatal period and ending with the formation of an individual style of emotional support for the child. The paper presents the levels of formation of motherhood: the macro level (social norms and stereotypes), the meso level (parental family influence), the micro level (own family) and the level of a specific personality. Such important components as the prototype of motherhood, productive motives (economic, social, psychological), and factors contributing to the emergence and manifestation of the maternal instinct are considered. The research can be useful for psychologists, sociologists, specialists in the field of family psychology and anyone who is interested in the formation of a maternal position and the psychological aspects of parenthood.

  • Cognitive component of attitude to energy saving in older preschool children and primary school children

    The article presents the results of a study of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving among older preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. The relevance of the study is due to the unworthy attention of the education system to the issue of developing an environmental, energy-saving attitude in children, given the obvious need to form a modern person focused on rational, energy-saving behavior. The article presents the results of an empirical study based on the author's methodology to study the content of the cognitive component of attitudes towards energy saving, and describes the types of motives for energy saving in children aged 5–10 years. The levels of formation of cognitive attitudes towards energy saving are identified and described. Children have an average level of formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving. Ideas about energy saving are unclear, vague. From senior preschool to junior school age, positive dynamics in the development of the cognitive component is observed. The dominant motive for energy saving is the motive of avoiding discomfort. With age, the content of ideas about energy saving is clarified and the energy saving motive itself begins to clearly stand out. With age, motives of personal benefit give way to motives of social significance. The formation of the cognitive component of the attitude to energy saving is influenced by the attitudes of adults, as well as the content of education. Mastering school subjects that cover environmental issues, as well as developing new forms of thinking in younger students, contributes to the development of a cognitive attitude towards energy conservation.

    Дети являются базовым условием семейного счастья, однако есть и другие не менее значимые потребности, которые могут оказывать влияние на проявление и удовлетворение генеративной потребности. Целью статьи является рассмотрение и обсуждение генеративной потребности человека, а предметом – мотивы репродуктивного поведения, ценностные ориентации в отношении деторождения. В изучении и анализе генеративной потребности необходимо охватывать многие свойства личности, включая стабильность и взаимодействие в семейных отношениях, психологическую готовность к исполнению роли родителя и сформированность мотивов иметь ребенка. Инфертильность в современных условиях можно рассматривать как аналог социальной инфантильности, т.к. налицо новая модель личности (т.н. «кидалты»), не обеспеченная соответствующей моделью чадородия.

    В статье содержатся результаты эмпирического исследования, направленного на выявление особенностей трудовой мотивации тренеров-преподавателей по шахматам. В исследовании с помощью двух бланковых методик были опрошены 118 тренеров-преподавателей по шахматам, проходивших курсы повышения квалификации и профессиональную переподготовку. По результатам исследования, обоснована необходимость снижения мотивов самоутверждения тренеров-преподавателей по шахматам за счет достижения воспитанниками высоких спортивных результатов и повышения ценностей педагогической деятельности, направленной на развитие личности юных шахматистов.

    The study is devoted to the analysis of the relationship between the motives of learning, measured by two methods based on different theoretical approaches, with the main regulatory processes (planning, modeling, programming, evaluation of results) and regulatory and personal properties (flexibility, independence), as well as with students' self-reports on academic performance. The study used the following methods: «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004), «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014), «Style of self-regulation of behavior – SSP-98» (Morosanova, 2000) and self-report of students on their academic performance over the past semesters. The study was conducted using an online survey in a Google form on a sample of 82 university students aged 18–29 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis (with Varimax rotation) were used in data processing. The results of the study: multiple significant correlations of learning motives, measured by two different methods «Diagnostics of student learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation», with scales of the SSP-98 methodology were obtained; significant positive correlations of learning motives with self-report on academic performance allow us to analyze the types of students' activities that include learning activities, that requires the use of already developed educational technologies and the development of new ones in the educational process at the university.

    The study is devoted to a comparative analysis of the results of using in different samples two different methods related to the study of students' learning motivation. The study used methods based on different approaches «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» (Badmaeva, 2004) and «Scales of academic motivation» (Gordeeva, Sychev, Osin, 2014). In addition, students provided information about their academic performance over the past semesters. The study was conducted using an online survey in a Google form on a sample of 82 university students aged 18–29 years. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) and factor analysis (with Varimax rotation) were used in data processing. The results of the study showed that the scales of the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation» when used in different samples correlate quite closely with each other; the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation», despite differences in their structure and terminology, allow us to assess the formation of students' learning motives; with the self-report on academic performance in the method «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» correlate, first of all, the motives of the learning of the «activity spectrum», and in the method «Scales of academic motivation» – the scale of the «internal motivation» of the learning; the joint use of the methods «Diagnostics of students' learning motivation» and «Scales of academic motivation» makes it possible to obtain a more differentiated picture of the features of the motivational sphere of students.

    Мотивационный компонент психологической готовности к родительству (материнству) включает репродуктивные установки и мотивацию родительства. В статье представлено исследование, цель которого – изучить особенности мотивов рождения ребенка у студенток с разным опытом материнства. С помощью методики «Репродуктивные мотивы» И.С. Морозовой, К.Н. Белогай были изучены конструктивные и деструктивные мотивы, описаны особенности их выраженности между исследуемыми группами. В мотивационной сфере обследованных студенток лидируют конструктивные психологические мотивы, мотивы отказа от рождения ребенка имеют свою специфику в зависимости от опыта материнства и состава семьи, в которой воспитывались испытуемые.
