    Abstract. The article reveals the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of developing digital literacy in primary school children with delayed mental development. It analyzes the main theoretical approaches of Russian researchers and defines pedagogical conditions that ensure the development of digital competencies among students with special educational needs. The difficulties of information perception and processing typical of this group are highlighted, and methods for overcoming them are proposed.

    Abstract:
    This paper examines the problem of digital inequality among the elderly and the potential of distance learning technologies to address it. Digital inequality is viewed as a multi-layered phenomenon manifested in differences in access, skills, and benefits from digital technologies. Specific barriers to the adoption of information and communication technologies (ICT) by older adults are analyzed. The study substantiates the effectiveness of distance learning for the older generation. It examines methodological features of teaching based on the principles of andragogy and gerogogy: reliance on life experience, practice-oriented approach, and the use of simple interfaces and step-by-step instructions. Practical recommendations are formulated for the implementation of distance learning technologies at the federal, regional, and local levels with the participation of educational organizations, technology companies, and civil society.

Methodological recommendations and specific examples of the implementation of the methodology are presented, aimed at activating the cognitive activity of students and creating situations of success in the process of mastering mathematical knowledge.

    The objective of the research consists in developing and substantiating scientifically a necessity of such disciplines as digital literacy, digital safety, digital standardization, encryption means and Runet peculiarities embedded into the process of foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities. The results of the conducted research allow to conclude that mastering a competent specialist during digitalization era requires the changes in the foreign language teaching content. It is especially crucial to take this factor into account to teach future journalists a foreign language.
