  • Linguistic representation of the concept “market” in attributive structures (based on the British publicistic text)

    Abstract:
    The article reveals the notion of “attribute” and provides the characteristic features of the attributive syntactic structures of the analyzed concept “market”. The purpose of the study is to describe the structure and semantics of the following syntactic models: N + N, P + N, DJ + N, PT + N, NU + N, with the nuclear lexeme “market” in publicistic texts. The relevance of the work is due to the insufficiency of study of the concept we are examining at the syntactic level. The main focus is on the analysis of prepositional one- and two-component attributive structures, as well as the characteristics of the semantic relationships of the elements of the phrase. The material for the study was the articles from the magazine “The Economist” (2023). In the course of the work, the methods of conceptual, contextual, semantic and logical analysis were used. The results of the research showed that the syntactic structures of the substantive and adjective group are the most frequent in the studied texts. The connection of the lexemes within the selected contexts is conditioned on semantic relationships of performance, belonging or purpose. Consideration of attributive phrases makes it possible to expand the following slots of the concept under study: market mechanism, market structure and state of market by including lexemes defining the core lexical unit.

    One of the priority areas for the development of children at preschool age is speech development. According to statistics, the number of children suffering from speech pathology is increasing every year. In this regard, there is a search for effective methods and techniques that contribute to overcoming speech disorders. In the case of severe speech disorders in children, the phonetic side of speech suffers. One of the methods of speech therapy work is phonetic rhymes, the peculiarity of which is the combination of phonetic rhythm and movements in the process of pronouncing syllables, words and phrases.

  • On the Structure of the Beserman Dictionary Based on the Materials of T. I. Teplyashina

    Abstract:
    This work is devoted to description of the microstructure (dictionary entry) of the Beserman dictionary, which is compiled based on the materials of T. I. Teplyashina. Besermans are small people who live compactly in the North West of Udmurtia. From the point of view of linguistics they speak a special dialect of the Udmurt language. The Besermans have a stable ethnic and linguistic identity, which is different from the Udmurt. At the beginning of the 21st century, the language of Besermans has become an object of considerable interest for linguists. Field materials were embodied in two dictionaries, a monograph and scientific articles. The most significant contribution to the study of the Beserman dialect was made by T. I. Teplyashina, who published the monograph “The Language of the Besermans”. Most of her materials, which were systematized in a field file, remained unused. The scientist's field file representing the Beserman speech of speakers born in the century before last can be called a unique linguistic heritage, waiting to be processed and implemented as a dictionary. Our dictionary will contain lexical and textual materials published in monographs and previously unpublished. This article examines in detail the structure of the dictionary, which has no analogues, at least in the lexicography of the Ural-Volga region.

    Abstract:
    The paper considers the problem of preserving water quality of rivers, in the channel and floodplain part of which gold deposits are developed by open-pit mining. As a result of the study we have developed the simplest engineering solutions for the design of environmental hydraulic structures. Designs of these structures were implemented in the project of Korolevskoye alluvial gold deposit in Transbaikalia. The operation of these structures during the washing of gold-bearing sands in the floodplain part of the Amazar River prevented the contamination of its water by industrial wastewater. The use of a water circulation system in the technological process and the filling of settling tanks with filtration and rainwater gave a positive water balance of the deposit. These measures prevented the impact of gold mining on the Mogocha municipal water intake located near the facility. As a result of technical and biological reclamation of disturbed lands during the development of the deposit, this area may serve as a recreational zone for Mogocha residents. Profitability of production and its economic efficiency are established by economic calculations given in the study.

    Currently, tourism is a backbone of the economy, and together with its associated sectors, it effectively combines many activities for global economic development. According to UNWTO data, tourism forms national competitive advantages and accounts for almost 11% of world GDP, introduces more than 4 trillion dollars into turnover, and for a number of countries, revenues from the tourism industry correspond to the basis in the country's budget. Currently, tourism is developing in the context of a deep crisis associated with the pandemic and the emergence of new strains of COVID-19, as well as with measures of external sanctions pressure caused by global political processes, which led to the need to revise traditional approaches to the leading tourism sectors – inbound and outbound, and in particular, international. International tourism has been largely affected by the coronavirus, as demand for services, the largest sources of foreign exchange earnings, has sharply decreased. The research problems are based on methodological approaches reflecting the issues of active transformation of global processes of world practice in the development of the tourism industry and its most important sectors. Technological and digital transformations are considered as key factors in the development of tourism. Possible trajectories of further tourism development are scientifically justified – transactional and infrastructural.

    An attempt to analyze human capital as an economic category is made. Human capital is one of the most discussed areas in economic theory and is most directly connected with other scientific areas, primarily with pedagogical and medical science, as well as with physical culture and sports. The structural components of human capital, its place and role in the modern economy are formulated and analyzed.     The purpose of the article is to present the practical experience of educational organizations of the Chuvash Republic in bringing the basic educational programs into compliance with the requirements of the Law on Education No. 273-FZ (as amended on July 31, 2020), in particular, on the development and implementation of the work program of education and the calendar plan of educational work as an integral part of the basic educational program to the pedagogical community; to describe the mechanism of organizational and managerial, informational, methodological support of educational activities of educational organizations of the Chuvash Republic. Methods. The study of the dynamics of the readiness of educational organizations of the Chuvash Republic to implement work programs of education was carried out using a comparative comprehensive analysis based on the results of monitoring studies, the compilation of ratings of educational organizations, discussions. Results. The need for organizational, managerial, informational, methodological support of the activities of educational organizations for the development of work programs of education and calendar plans of educational work led to the development of a republican model of methodological support of educational activities. Local activities, as well as the distributed responsibility of the subjects of the republican education system, including methodological support systems, for the preparation of teaching teams for the development and implementation of work programs of education and calendar plans of educational work, provided quantitative and qualitative indicators of the readiness of the regional education system to implement educational activities in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Education No. 273-FZ (as amended on July 31, 2020). Conclusion. The conducted research revealed the existence of an appropriate level of quantitative and qualitative indicators of the readiness of the education system of the Chuvash Republic to implement educational tasks and determined the further direction of its development - methodological support of educational activities of educational organizations, ensuring the quality of this area of work.

    The article considers the mechanism of implementation of the concept of sustainable development of rural areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author characterizes the concept of sustainable development of rural areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, meaning their stability, socio-economic development, growth and increase in the volume of production of the agricultural industry, as well as the achievement of full employment of the rural population, and as a result, the growth of their standard of living. As a mechanism for improving the efficiency of rural areas, the author suggests considering labor resources, their employment, which is based on the population. The development of rural areas is described in stages, starting in 1991. In conclusion, the author notes that the solution to the problems of rural development is directly dependent on the effectiveness of the state policy in the field of agriculture. Therefore, today the government's attention is focused on the development of the future of the Kazakh village, the strategy of social policy and the development of infrastructure in rural areas. As the main target indicators of rural development in Kazakhstan, the author suggests improving the living conditions of the rural population in 2021 to 64% compared to the indicators of 2018–58%; improving the quality of living for 80% of the rural population in settlements that would meet modern standards of quality of life by 2030, increasing the volume of agricultural products by 2.5 times compared to the same indicators in 2017.

  • Dependency Between Grammatical Structure of Language and Verbal Thinking Strategies

    Abstract:
    The article contains a discussion of how the grammatical structure of a language determines sentence structure and affects verbal thinking strategy. The stages of languages’ historic development (incorporative, ergative, nominative) and the relationship between sentence structure and native speakers’ thinking are characterized. The common case of the grammatical subject of a sentence does mean that Anglo-Saxons regard themselves as their own fortune’s active makers and masters. The common case equally expresses success and failure, activity and passivity, self-will and conformity. Nowadays, languages of all the three types coexist on the Globe. The languages of the first two types are used not only by primitive peoples but also by civilized nations. But this does not mean that civilized speakers think archaically. Methods and conclusions. Contrastive analysis of language material (English personal and Russian impersonal morphosyntactic constructions) enables the author to conclude: there is no direct correlation between national character and sentence structure. The connection between thinking and grammar does not consist in this; it consists in the choice of thinking strategies based on the grammatical potential of the language under discussion.
